Advanced Saving Settings

This dialog will allow you to set auto saving and other advanced saving options for PDFtypewriter's PDF Printer Driver

 

1 . No Autosave (default) Button No Autosave (default) Button

Check this option to disable auto save. This is the default state for PDFtypewriter PDF Printer Driver. None of the below options will take effect with this option chosen.

 

2 . Autosave to Folder Button Autosave to Folder Button

Check Here to enable auto save. With this option selected, the folder displayed below it will be the folder to which PDFtypewriter PDF Printer Driver auto saves PDF files. Files will be saved to the folder in the format yyyymmddhhmmss.pdf (for example 20070101100000.pdf for Jan 1st 2007, at 10:00:00 am).

Check Here to also include the document name, as provided by the application which printed to PDFtypewriter when auto saving. A space, a dash, another space, and then the document name as specified by the printing application will be appended to the usual file name. Files will be saved to the auto save folder in the format yyyymmddhhmmss - document_name.pdf (for example 20070101100000 - My Document.pdf for a document named My Document created at Jan 1st 2007, at 10:00:00 am).

Click Here to set the folder to which PDFtypewriter PDF Printer Driver will auto save.

Check Here to have PDFtypewriter also prompt for a signature. A Topaz signature pad is required for this. For more information on Topaz signature pads, see:

A dialog will appear asking for a signature on auto save if this option is checked.

 

6 . Signature Position Signature Position

Fill in these values to specify where the signature from the Topaz signature pad will be placed.

 

The PAGE fields will set the page on which the signature will be placed. A value of 0 will put the signature on the last page.

 

The LEFT, TOP, WIDTH, and HEIGHT fields will set the coordinates for where on the page a signature will be placed. All values are in inches and measured from the top left corner of the PDF file.
