Creating an image from any other file is just as easy as creating a PDF. The procedure is almost exactly the same, but to create an image you click the CREATE IMAGE button instead of the CREATE PDF button.

In order to convert a file to an image, open the file in its default application. After you have opened the file and printed it to the PDFtypewriter Printer Driver, the PDFtypewriter Printer dialog will appear. Please see Creating a PDF if you are having trouble getting to the save as dialog point.

After clicking the CREATE IMAGE button, the save as dialog will appear. This is the same dialog seen in Step 4 will be shown. Use the File Type Selection to choose which type of image to save as.

Select the DPI (dots per inch) which you want the image you are creating to have. The larger the DPI, the larger the resulting images will be and the longer the conversion process will take.

Checking the BLACK AND WHITE option will convert the output image to black and white if it would otherwise have been color.

The QUALITY option allow you to adjust the quality of the output images. This option is only applicable when JPEG and PNG images are being created. Quality can be set from 0 to 100. The larger the quality setting, the larger (and clearer) the output images.

Click the Save button to complete the image creation process.
