This tab is only available on Text Form Field Objects

The top field on the Form Field tab is the name of the form field.

The Form Field Default Value will allow you to set the default value for the form field when it is initially loaded by someone who opens the PDF.

The Max: x Characters value limits the number of characters that can be entered into the form field. A value of 0 will allow the form user to input as many characters as they want into the PDF form field.

Checking the Allow Multiple Lines will allow multiple lines to be entered into the form field.
