Export As PDF/X-3 or PDF/A

PDF/X & PDF/A files are print ready PDF files which contain ICC profiles which can be submitted to offset printers in order to best replicate on screen colors and styles when printed.

At this time, PDFtypewriter exports PDF/X-3 compliant files and PDF/A compliant files.

Click FILE-> SAVE AS PDF -> SAVE AS PDF /X-3 or FILE-> SAVE AS PDF -> SAVE AS PDF/A to begin export.

Or click the Advanced Ribbon Tab and choose to save as a PDF/X or PDF/A:

Click Change Profile in order to change the ICC profile which PDFtypewriter will use to export the PDF/X or PDF/A compliant file.

The following dialog will appear when selected:

PDFtypewriter includes several default ICC profiles, however Windows installed profiles can also be used. Click the Download Additional Profiles button to have PDFtypewriter download other common profiles from the CTdeveloping website for use in PDFtypewriter
